Job Summary
Maintenance Technician III responsible for supervising project work including fabrication, installation, welding, grinding, painting; read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot dock doors/levelers/restraints, design line-side ergonomic aids, MIG/TIG weld, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, plan and estimate scope, prepare work instructions, and ensure safety and timely delivery. Requires strong communication, teamwork, and ability to meet deadlines; weekend availability and outdoor work experience are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
- Training equivalent to journeyman status or certification in an engineering discipline
- Proficiency using maintenance planning software packages such as eMaint, MP2 or Maximo
- Experience reading blueprints and schematic drawings
- Ability to troubleshoot Dock Doors, Levelers, and Restraints
- Ability to MIG and TIG weld
- Experience performing work safely both indoors and outdoors
- Experience and willingness to work weekends
- Ability to lift items up to 70 lbs
- Experience working in hot and damp environments, wearing PPE, climbing stairs, kneeling, crouching, and standing/walking for extended periods of time
