Maintenance Technician III

Job Summary
Diagnose and perform timely maintenance and repairs, restore vacant apartments to move-in ready status, and complete preventative maintenance per company guidelines. Lead the maintenance team by providing training, mentoring junior technicians, and guiding them through complex technical challenges. Manage building and common area upkeep, assist with pool maintenance, and conduct on-call emergency service rotations as scheduled. Ensure all service requests meet Hawthorne standards while promoting positive public relations with residents, vendors, and staff. Follow strict safety protocols and complete special projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in apartment maintenance or a skilled trade such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical
- Valid Driver's License
- EPA/ HVAC Certification
- CPO Certification
- Prior supervisory or lead technician experience strongly preferred
