Maintenance Technician III

Job Summary
Coordinate activities of Maintenance Technicians and provide coaching and development support to the team. Serve as back-up for the Maintenance Manager and assist in implementing improvements with production, engineering, and vendors. Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair on production machines; conduct regular preventive maintenance; read and interpret manuals and work orders; diagnose problems and replace/adjust parts. Ensure plant safety by enforcing GMPs and safe work practices, identify unsafe conditions, and correct issues. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material handling equipment; monitor equipment performance and report anomalies to supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment
- Experience in maintenance of production/facility equipment
- Supervisory experience desired
- Experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Basic/advanced electrical experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of CMMS
- Ability to prioritize work orders
- Understanding of GMPs and ammonia refrigeration systems helpful
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required; Associate degree in Industrial Technology or related area preferred
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders; diagnose problems; perform preventive maintenance; use hand and power tools; electrical meters; material handling equipment
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations and processes; ability to multi-task; strong organizational skills
- Experience with safety practices and PPE; safety leadership
- Shift: 11pm-7am
- Non-exempt position
