Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance on plastic injection molding machines, chillers, dryers, and grinders. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate and assist with new equipment installation and machinery relocation. Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and collaborate with production teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives. Requires 5+ years of experience, proficiency in industrial systems, and ability to climb overhead structures or work in close quarters. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate degree or applicable certification
- Vocational school or junior technical college training in applicable technical areas
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience
- Ability to climb in overhead structures
- Ability to work beneath machines
- Ability to work in close quarters
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Strong understanding of hydraulic pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems common with industrial machines
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
