Maintenance Technician III- 3rd Shift

Take your maintenance career to the next level as a Maintenance Technician III on 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00pm-6:00am) at Perdue Foods Nashville Feedmill. You’ll bring advanced technical expertise to a collaborative team focused on keeping plant operations safe, reliable, and running at peak performance. You’ll diagnose and repair complex machinery, conduct preventive maintenance, and support Operators with machine reliability while expanding your skills through on-the-job learning, advanced training, and additional certifications. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing complex machinery, performing preventive maintenance, supporting production with machinery reliability, troubleshooting equipment setup and production changeovers, responding to breakdowns, following safety and quality protocols, maintaining clear records, and working with a team to sustain operational excellence. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 5-8 years of industrial maintenance experience, expert proficiency in hydraulics/mechanics/electrical/welding/rigging, intermediate PLC proficiency, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning with Perdue QEW certification; preferred candidates may have a 2-year technical degree in engineering or industrial maintenance and must be able to achieve maintenance tech III proficiency within 10 months of hire.
