Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex machinery, conduct preventive maintenance, and ensure production efficiency while providing support to operators on overall equipment reliability. Respond to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot production changeovers, and report unusual mechanical or electrical situations. Maintain work records, prepare written reports, and strictly adhere to safety standards and quality protocols to minimize exposure to hazards. Work all required schedules, including weekends as dictated by business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 - 8 Years experience in Industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on Mechanical and Electrical Equipment, and/or Equivalent Military Experience
- Expert Proficiency in Hydraulics, Mechanics, Electrical, Welding and Rigging
- Intermediate Proficiency with PLC
- Commitment to Continuous Learning to achieve increasing levels of expertise
- Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing
- Maintain Perdue Farms QEW Certification
- Must be able demonstrate/achieve and maintain Maintenance Tech III proficiency within 10 months of hire
- Work all required work schedules
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- 2-year Technical Degree in Engineering or Industrial Maintenance
