Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for diagnosing and repairing maintenance issues in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major appliances, ensuring timely service requests are completed. This role includes conducting preventative maintenance, maintaining safety procedures, and assisting in the painting of surfaces. Candidates should possess 2-3 years of relevant maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and effective communication skills. Safety knowledge and familiarity with maintenance policies and emergency systems are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work
- Knowledge surrounding HVAC repair
- Knowledge surrounding Plumbing
- Knowledge surrounding Electrical
- General Maintenance repair work
- A valid driver's license
- Ability to accommodate an on-call schedule
- Ability to communicate with associates and residents
- Ability to read and understand policies and procedures
- Ability to identify cleaning and chemical supplies
- Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Basic understanding of emergency systems
- Demonstrates knowledge of paint types and paint tools
