Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for performing essential maintenance duties across various facilities including ensuring compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians' regulations, performing repairs and installations (e.g., plumbing, electrical work, HVAC tasks), maintaining cleanliness of facilities, and assisting with heavy lifting and construction support. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with five years of specialized experience in maintenance and familiarity with maintaining effective working relationships. Applicants should be able to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, and possess necessary licenses and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 5 year specialized experience in one maintenance field (i.e., electrical, plumbing, or painting) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Work Permit
- Washington or Idaho State Driver’s License
- Certification to operate a forklift
- Hepatitis A & B vaccination
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Gas I or II
- HVAC Training
- EPA Refrigerant License
- Electrical License
Additional Requirements
- Kalispel Tribal Members given hiring preference
- Must pass drug testing
- Background investigation may be required
