Job Summary
Diagnose and repair issues in rental units, common areas, offices, grounds, and parking lots, covering appliances, carpentry, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Complete assigned service requests and repairs per operating procedures while ensuring vacant apartments are market-ready. Execute preventive maintenance, building safety inspections, and annual unit inspections. Maintain curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management. Perform on-call duties during off-hours and emergencies as scheduled. This part-time role involves 25 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with rotating on-call duty 1 to 2 times monthly. Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
- A current vehicle license in good standing and meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic familiarity with computers and tablets
- Availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs
- Ability to speak and understand basic English
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational or technical training
- Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMT)
