Job Summary
Diagnose and repair general maintenance issues including drywall, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and HVAC systems while performing daily inspections of community grounds and interiors. Coordinate with outside contractors, manage vendor oversight, and ensure all work meets quality standards. Adhere to the on-call rotation for emergency repairs and respond promptly to service requests, managing high-volume periods efficiently. Maintain accurate maintenance records, monitor security systems, and address safety compliance for all 11 buildings across the multifamily property.
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Strong communication skills and customer service to interact with team and residents
- Track record of quality work
- Proven ability to assist with maintaining property security and Fire Life safety systems
- Proven ability to utilize the Yardi work order system and other computer systems for service tickets, inventory, and maintenance records
- Strong time management skills with the ability to change tasks quickly and frequently
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
- Technical degree in a related field or an equivalent amount of training or experience
- 1-2 years in multifamily maintenance, construction, or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications in HVAC/EPA, CPO, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry preferred
