Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II performs diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, analyzes and resolves customer problems, and delivers high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include servicing heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories; inspecting equipment and diagnosing issues; completing routine maintenance and paperwork; delivering parts and equipment; communicating with dispatch and customers; promoting products and services; maintaining company property and vehicle stocks; and following safety and procedural guidelines. Requires high school diploma or GED with HVAC experience and EPA/safety certifications; includes on-call work and reading wiring diagrams, balancing airflow, and troubleshooting complex HVAC systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with additional training and 1-2+ years’ HVAC experience
- technical training certification
- EPA and safety certifications
- valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and move in tight spaces
