Job Summary

Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and production systems, diagnosing electrical issues up to 480V including 3-phase power. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on motors, drives, pumps, valves, and control systems while reading schematics and wiring diagrams. Complete work orders and documentation accurately, responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime and follow strict food safety protocols. Assist with facility improvements and continuous improvement initiatives while managing multiple tasks in a manufacturing environment. Work weekends, overtime, and occasional call-ins as required.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials as needed
  • Ability to work weekends, overtime, and occasional call-ins as required
  • Ability to operate lifts and other maintenance-related equipment safely
  • Ability to operate industrial equipment such as hand wrenches, welders, power tools, cutting torch, and tape measure
  • Ability to operate all plant and office equipment necessary to accomplish job duties
  • Ability to drive and maintain a valid driver license
  • Ability to utilize basic math skills, including a variety of calculations
  • Ability to legibly document data for record keeping purposes
  • Ability to read and record data from various gauge
  • Analytical ability related to complex information and problem solving
  • Ability to implement all safety procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical information through use of written documentation or oral presentation
  • Ability to recognize food safety violations or product quality issues and resolve immediately or, if unable to resolve, notify Plant Manager and/or the Quality Control Supervisor

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, or related field
  • Experience working with 120V, 240V, and 480V electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automated manufacturing equipment
  • Knowledge & Skills Motors, pumps, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, and valves
  • Electrical safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a production environment
  • Computer skills for maintenance documentation and work order systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
