Job Summary
Conduct apartment maintenance covering plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repairs while troubleshooting issues and managing priorities independently. Perform tasks requiring lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and using hand and power tools in a fast-paced environment. Respond to emergency calls as needed and work with residents and team members to deliver quality service. Requires a valid driver's license, computer proficiency, and passing a Maintenance Test with a score of 70% or more.
Required Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in property management or facility maintenance
- Strong working knowledge of all areas of apartment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repairs
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service to residents and team members
- Legally able to work in United States
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pass a thorough background check
- Able to speak, read and write English competently
- Possess a valid driver license, proof of insurance, and a reliable vehicle
- Computer proficient
- Ability to learn company software programs
- Must possess basic hand and power tools and the knowledge to use them
- Must pass Maintenance Test with a score of 70% or more
- One or more years of property maintenance-related work experience
- Able to handle basic maintenance and troubleshoot more extensive maintenance issues
- Work independently and/or with others
- Lift, carry, pull, or push 25-50 lbs
- Climb stairs, step stools or ladders up to 6 ft. high, twist, crouch, or kneel
- Spend extended periods of time standing
- Walk on even or uneven surfaces
- Use arms, wrists, and hands to grasp, squeeze and manipulate
- Tolerate changes in weather and be able to complete tasks
- Willing to respond to emergency calls when required
