Job Summary
Provide mechanical expertise for the installation and maintenance of plant equipment and production assets. Troubleshoot mechanical and low voltage electrical failures to identify root causes and continuous improvement opportunities. Perform routine preventative maintenance and work order tasks while completing required reports and logs. Identify high-risk downtime areas in fast-pass production environments and minimize disruptions. Maintain good housekeeping practices in work areas and the maintenance shop. Liaise with other departments to ensure effective communication and adhere to all safety and quality policies. Work within the Maintenance team under the supervision of a Team Lead and Maintenance Supervisor. Be observant and take initiative when faults are detected. Work in a processing environment without jeopardizing food safety. Be able to work 12-hour rotating continental shifts (two weeks days, two weeks nights) and overtime for coverage or audits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Millwright license (433A)
- Willingness to attain Class B Operator Refrigeration License in-house
- Ability to work independently
- Prioritize tasks

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a millwright or maintenance technician in a continuous process manufacturing environment
- Experience in food or pharmaceuticals
