Job Summary
Analyze production equipment to troubleshoot problems and perform necessary repairs with minimal oversight. Document all repairs and preventive maintenance using the work order system while conducting regular inspections on production equipment. Set up new equipment, interpret blueprints, and apply basic machinist skills using a vertical mill and lathe. Train others on proper repair techniques and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Provide feedback to supervisors on maintenance status and submit end-of-shift reports. Work Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:00pm with overtime on Fridays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Associate's degree in a related technical field
- Minimum of three years of related maintenance experience
- technical training
- Ability to obtain forklift license
- Ability to obtain aerial lift platform license
- knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software
- knowledge of Microsoft Software Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related technical field
- Basic welding and fabrication skills
- machining experience with mill and lathe
