Job Summary
Analyze equipment to troubleshoot problems and perform repairs with minimal supervision, utilizing vertical mill and lathe skills for machining tasks. Document repairs and preventive maintenance through the EAM system while interpreting blueprints and applying welding and fabrication techniques. Set up new equipment, conduct regular inspections, and train others on proper repair practices. Maintain a clean work environment, report hazards, and submit end-of-shift status updates to supervisors. Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 4:00pm, with overtime on Fridays as needed. Requires three years of maintenance experience and forlift/aerial lift licenses. Marvin manufactures award-winning windows, doors, and TruStile products across 19 North American cities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Associate's degree in a related technical field
- Minimum of three years of related maintenance experience and/or technical training
- Ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift platform licenses
- knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management software
- knowledge of the Microsoft Software Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Basic welding and fabrication skills
- machining experience with mill and lathe
