Job Summary
Complete assigned service requests and repairs for residential apartment buildings, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance work. Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment by inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, and replacing filters. Diagnose and execute installations for wiring, security systems, and cabinetry while restoring vacated units to market-ready status. Maintain building grounds and oversee vendor make-ready checklists. Requires on-call rotation every couple of weeks and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and vehicle
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Provide own basic tool
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance tools
- Previous maintenance experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems
- Working knowledge of electrical repairs
- Working knowledge of plumbing
- Working knowledge of carpentry
- Working knowledge of painting
- Working knowledge of refurbishing
- Familiarity with various appliances
- Ability to respond to after-hour emergencies, when on-call duty is assigned
- Must be available for on-call rotation every couple of weeks
