Job Summary
Diagnose and repair appliances, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across rental units, common areas, offices, grounds, and parking lots. Complete assigned service requests consistent with company operating procedures and ensure vacant apartments are market-ready. Perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual unit inspections while maintaining curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management. Adhere to a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call duty for one week followed by four weeks off.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic familiarity with computers and tablets
- Availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs
- Ability to speak and understand basic English
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational or technical training
- Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMT)
