Job Summary
Perform all general maintenance tasks including service requests and turnover functions to maintain and preserve the Neighborhood. Troubleshoot and repair major and minor mechanical systems, handling basic appliance repairs, installation, plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and painting. Ensure neighbors feel well-cared for by addressing service requests promptly and completing all phases of apartment turnovers. Maintain availability for on-call services and adhere to safety protocols while performing tasks primarily outdoors. Requires standing, climbing, balancing, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of two years' experience and/or training in apartment maintenance
- Ability to speak, communicate, read, write and understand the primary languages used in the workplace including, but not limited to, English
- Must possess basic computer proficiency and understanding of building materials and tools
- Must be available for on-call services
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
