Job Summary
Complete maintenance service requests across multiple trades, including regular ProCare visits for proactive inspections and repairs. Perform general property condition assessments, alert property management on immediate issues, and educate residents on home systems and expectations. Execute repairs in vacant properties during the turn process while utilizing mobile apps to log work and schedule future visits. Review Technician-specific reports to identify improvement opportunities and ensure all safety guidelines are followed. Maintain company tools and vehicles while adhering to a schedule that includes occasional weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-5+ years' proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance, other building maintenance or related experience
- OSHA 10 certification (new hires will have up to 90 days to complete OSHA 10 certification if not already certified)
- Current driver's license
- Automobile insurance
- Any other licenses and/or certification as required by state law
- Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis including occasional weekends and holidays
- Ability to provide basic hand and power tools
- Ability to lift and/or move an excess of 50 pounds or more and operate standard maintenance equipment as assigned
Desired Qualifications
- EPA Certification: Type I, Type II, and/or EPA Universal HVAC Certification
- CPO certification (pool)
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
- Multi-lingual
- Comfortability using mobile devices (i.e. iPad and/or iPhone) and various mobile applications
- Understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems and ability to perform general repairs in some of the following: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior structural, HVAC (minor) and appliances
