Maintenance Technician II/III (Swing Shift)

Job Summary
Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and process utility systems using the CMMS. Troubleshoot and repair facilities, equipment, and circuits including motors, pumps, compressors, boilers, chillers, and water systems while adhering to standard operating procedures and safe work practices. Document all maintenance, quality, and deviation reports, and assist with root cause investigations to improve system reliability. Work independently or as a team member to solve complex issues and handle assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a general maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment
- or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- A.S./A.A. Degree in Mechanical/Utilities Technology
- Licensed Journeyman
- minimum of five (5) years of work experience (for Licensed Journeyman)
- Prior experience with general utility systems
- Prior experience with boilers
- Prior experience with electrical systems
- Prior experience with HVAC
- Prior experience with refrigeration systems
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write routine correspondence
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees and/or clients
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to walk up steps
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to lift small equipment and tools
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience
- CMMS experience (Blue Mountain ideal)
Desired Qualifications
- hands-on or vocational school training
- Universal CFC Refrigerant License
- Prior experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
