Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and ductwork, while ensuring safety, code compliance, and proper operation. Inspect, troubleshoot, and test equipment to monitor building automation systems and adjust performance. Perform preventive maintenance tests, evaluate systems for future repairs, and manage space temperature and humidity levels. Operate hand tools, power equipment, and machinery, maintaining an appropriate inventory of supplies. Respond to emergency calls and utilize a work order management system to support overall Maintenance Department needs. Requires a high school diploma, two years of advanced skilled trades experience, and ability to work independently in medium to heavy physical conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- two (2) years of advanced skilled trades experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master or Journeyman's license
- ability to obtain Master or Journeyman's license within 12 months of hire
- EPA approved refrigerant certification
- ability to interpret blueprints and equipment schematics
- electrical license
- electrical experience
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to work with a team
