MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II

Job Summary
Inspect, diagnose, and solve problems with machines or building operations; perform basic repairs and implement preventative measures to ensure equipment longevity and functionality. Requires three years of general building maintenance experience and a High School diploma or GED. Course work or training in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Framing and Carpentry, CMMS, Building Automation Systems, Drywall repair, Painting, Doors and Electronic Access Controls, and related trades is highly desirable. Technical proficiency in troubleshooting, repair and maintenance, safety knowledge, and ability to communicate with colleagues and customers. Able to operate tools and equipment, work independently, and meet scheduling deadlines in a hospital setting; may require on-call availability, overtime, and adherence to regulatory requirements (OSHA, CMS, DNV, The Joint Commission). Reports to work on time, maintains records, and follows organizational policies. Location: Colquitt, GA, US; in-person work required.
