Job Summary
Complete apartment turns, perform plumbing, appliance, HVAC, and basic electrical repairs, and respond to service requests and work orders in a timely manner. Conduct routine inspections, maintain common areas and grounds, and coordinate vendor schedules and supplies. Participate in the on-call rotation for emergencies and assist with annual inspections. Maintain accurate records, report safety concerns, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Collaborate with management to support property operations and resident satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CA license
- At least 2 solid years of apartment maintenance experience
- Minimum of 2 years of apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance practices
- Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and complete repairs safely, efficiently, and with minimal supervision
- Experience performing apartment turns and preparing vacant units for occupancy
- Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and team members
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage competing demands, and complete work orders in a timely manner
- Basic computer proficiency and experience using work order or property management systems
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team
- Availability to respond to after-hours emergencies and participate in on-call responsibilities as needed
- Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance

- Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a positive, professional attitude
- Ability to work a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on call as needed basis
