Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems across buildings, industrial facilities, and vehicles. Perform general building maintenance, including lighting and ballast replacements, plumbing repairs, minor HVAC work, and life safety system inspections. Execute installation and modification of building equipment while adhering to OSHA, local, and national electrical codes. Respond immediately to emergency situations and customer concerns, often requiring on-call rotation and extended shifts. Maintain a valid driver's license, own basic hand tools, and possess 3-10 years of commercial facility maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3-10 years of experience in commercial facilities and building maintenance
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Own basic hand tools
- Battery drill
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in maintenance work
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Good or correctable vision
Desired Qualifications
- Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in electrical and HVAC or any similar combination of experience and education
- Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
- Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility maintenance
- Must maintain a neat appearance
