Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II responsible for daily maintenance and repairs in electrical, plumbing, and appliances; prepare vacant apartments using the Make Ready Checklist; maintain exterior areas and pool; inspect buildings for safety and cleanliness; report inventory needs; coordinate with vendors; respond to on-call emergencies; ensure safety and adherence to policies; deliver strong customer service to residents. The role requires on-site work at a residential community, participation in the on-call rotation, and the ability to communicate effectively in English, with proficiency in basic computer use and incident reporting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Minimum one year of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- General computer skills, including operating a mobile device
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Superior customer service skills, including the ability to manage difficult customers and situations
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to be on-call for after-hours emergencies
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
