Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II responsible for daily maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, and appliance systems; diagnose and repair issues; prepare vacant apartments for new residents using the Make Ready Checklist; maintain exterior areas and pool; conduct safety inspections and report inventory needs; respond to on-call emergencies; communicate with vendors; ensure compliance with policies; position based at a residential community in Plano, TX with on-site responsibilities and on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- General computer skills, including operating a mobile device
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Superior customer service skills
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to be on-call for after-hours emergencies
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
