Job Summary
Perform daily maintenance and repairs in electrical, plumbing, and appliances while responding promptly to resident requests. Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using the Make Ready Checklist and maintain the exterior of the property and pool areas. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and common area systems to ensure safety and cleanliness. Communicate with vendors and contractors, report inventory needs, and respond to on-call emergencies. Follow safe work practices and Fairfield policies while managing difficult customer situations. Requires valid driver's license, one year of maintenance experience, and ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum one year of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or related trade
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- General computer skills, including operating a mobile device
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational skills

- Problem-solving skills
- Superior customer service skills, including the ability to manage difficult customers and situations
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
