Job Summary
Maintain safe and smooth-running hotel property and grounds by performing repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and HVAC systems. Duties include light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities also consist of keeping detailed records, providing training to Maintenance Tech I team members, and collaborating with management for department needs. Candidates should demonstrate advanced maintenance skills and the ability to manage hotel maintenance tasks effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills
- Ability to complete partial or full dismantling of equipment to repair or replace defective components
- Knowledge of water chemistry, water testing, filtration, and mechanical operations for pool maintenance
- Experience in implementing and monitoring preventative maintenance programs
- Knowledge of building maintenance, including minor electrical repair and plumbing
- Ability to speak, write and receive direction in English
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery faults using appropriate testing methods
- Flexibility to be available for emergency repair
