Job Summary
Maintain and repair conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a fast-paced parcel sortation environment; perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic issues, repair components, rebuild/align gears, shafts, pulleys and belts, read schematics/blueprints and follow safety guidelines (LOTO/OSHA); may be required to work after hours and participate in a 24/7 operation; strong mechanical and industrial electrical skills with knowledge of VFDs/PLC/HMI and 3-phase electrical work; safety-focused, able to work independently or as part of a team, and capable of handling up to 60 lb loads and occasional weekend/holiday coverage.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- technical degree or trade school certificate preferred
- 1 year of related experience in industrial maintenance, automated conveyor systems, material handling equipment, or equivalent education/experience
- experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- experience performing maintenance in a 24/7 operation
- welding and fabrication experience preferred
- proficiency reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- knowledge of LOTO, OSHA requirements, PM programs, safe electrical work practices
- ability to lift 60 pounds
- valid driver’s license and clean driving record
