Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II performs a wide range of on-site maintenance duties at multiple properties, including interior and exterior repairs, electrical work (fixtures, lights, plugs, switches), plumbing tasks, door/window maintenance, HVAC-related duties, and unit turnover inspections and preparations (5-day turnover target). Responsibilities include lock and key replacement, weather-stripping, and routine preventative maintenance across 100+ unit properties; workload may involve janitorial duties and basic computer tasks for property management. The role requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to complete background checks and drug testing as part of employment. The position is based in Tiburon, Belvedere, and Sausalito, CA, with onsite, in-person work expectations at affordable housing communities under HUD/HUD Section 8 properties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- 2+ Years of Related Apartment Maintenance Experience
- Knowledge in Plumbing, Electrical, and General Maintenance
- CADL, Clean DMV and Reliable Transportation
- HVAC Certification Plus
- CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS
- DRUG TESTING requirements
- Satisfactory completion of background check and fingerprinting requirements for employment with EAH Housing
