Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II responsible for installing and maintaining industrial and facility equipment, with broad mechanical and electromechanical skills including PLCs, AC/DC drives, and basic welding. Reads P&ID drawings and basic electrical/ instrumentation concepts; troubleshoots plant equipment, assists in startup after maintenance, and participates in root-cause analysis of equipment failures. Requires on-call availability and resides under supervision of Industrial Maintenance Supervisor; works in a production environment across office, production floor, and lab areas without remote work. Focuses on safe maintenance practices, preventative maintenance, and coordinating with operations to minimize outages.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a continuous process industry, or two years post-secondary education in industrial technology or college education with concentration in industrial technology, or equivalent experience
- U.S. citizen or legal status to reside and work in the U.S. for reasons other than practical training
- Initiative, adaptability, and communication skills
- Ability to work safely in a production environment; physically capable of performing job-related tasks and duties
