Job Summary
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspect machinery for wear, and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems. Repair production equipment, assist with automated machinery installation and programming, and execute basic machining, welding, and fabrication tasks. Operate forklifts, power tools, and diagnostic instruments while using blueprints and schematics to complete work. Maintain accurate records of inspections and repairs, follow safety procedures, and communicate equipment concerns to the supervisor. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift certification
- Intermediate knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Proficiency with power tools, welding equipment, and machining equipment
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to independently perform assigned maintenance and repair work
- Intermediate understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training or coursework in industrial maintenance
- Manufacturing experience
- Two to five years of maintenance experience
