Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II performs skilled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, painting, heating/air issues, and related turnover duties to ensure make-ready status. Responsibilities include carpentry tasks (wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, ceramic tile repair), drywall patching and painting, inventory management, supply transport, snow removal, grounds upkeep, preventive maintenance, equipment upkeep, and after-hours on-call service; may assist at other properties in the region. Requires multi-trade capability (at least two trades), a valid driver's license, basic English, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; on-call availability and safety compliance are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of related experience
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and/or carpentry
- Skilled in at least 2 trades (electrical, plumbing, appliances, HVAC and carpentry)
- Valid driver's license
- Availability for on-call activity during off hours
- Ability to speak and understand basic English
