Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II responsible for installing, testing, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining electrical/electronic control systems for high-speed manufacturing equipment; troubleshooting process control systems and equipment failures; supporting and maintaining PLC systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and industrial networks; diagnosing and repairing motor drive systems including variable frequency and DC drives; installing and maintaining robotics and high-speed camera-based quality control equipment; interpreting and working from engineering schematics and vendor documentation; using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and VOM to resolve complex electrical issues; contributing to productivity and technology improvement projects to ensure equipment reliability and performance; requires an Associate degree and 3+ years of electronics experience in a manufacturing or process-control environment, with strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read technical drawings and operate diagnostic tools.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or related field (or military equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience in electronics within high-speed manufacturing or process control environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to repair complex electronic circuits
- Solid understanding of electronic components, systems, and industrial automation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
- Proficiency with electronic diagnostic tools and basic Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with peers and management
