Maintenance Technician II

Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for responding to and repairing property issues identified by residents. Duties include handling work orders, performing maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs, and ensuring timely completion of service requests. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least 2-3 years of maintenance experience, and a working knowledge of building codes and repairs. Strong customer service skills and the ability to operate a company vehicle are also required.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of prior maintenance experience minimum of 1-year in maintenance with single-family or multi-family property management company
- Basic knowledge of building and property management codes
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lock key and general household repairs
- Must have a current and valid driver's license as you will be operating a company vehicle
- Be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational/technical school and/or college considered a plus
- One or more of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical certification preferred
- Good communication and written skills
- Great organizational and customer service/satisfaction philosophy
