Job Summary
Diagnose and make repairs in rental units, common areas, offices, grounds, and parking lots covering carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, appliances, masonry, painting, and hardware. Complete assigned service requests consistent with operating procedures, prepare vacant apartments for occupancy, and execute preventive maintenance, safety, and annual unit inspections. Maintain curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with availability for on-call activity during off-hours for urgent needs. Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic familiarity with computers and tablets
- Availability for on-call activity during off hours for urgent needs
- Ability to speak and understand basic English
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities
Desired Qualifications
- Vocational or technical training
- Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMT)
