Job Summary
Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance by observing devices, dismantling parts, repairing defective components, and testing electrical and mechanical systems. Independently execute maintenance per industry standards while identifying and sourcing necessary parts and supplies. Operate multiple machining tools including lathes, drill presses, and grinders, and perform welding tasks as required. Troubleshoot control systems to resolve software and hardware configuration problems, utilizing predictive maintenance technologies to collect performance data. Comply with 5S housekeeping standards and safety policies, driving continuous improvement activities focused on processes and cost savings. Update records and review CMMS history while providing assistance to lower-level technicians and leadership.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry
- 5 years of related experience in general industry
- successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program
- Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems
- Can analyze problems and perform repairs
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
- Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds
