Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II responsible for mid-to-expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, diagnosing root causes, disassembling devices to access faulty parts, repairing or replacing components, testing electrical and mechanical systems, and ensuring equipment performance. The role involves sourcing parts, operating machining tools when needed (lathe, drill press, grinder), performing welding tasks, adhering to 5S and housekeeping standards, driving CI activities and cost savings, maintaining CMMS records, and mentoring lower-level technicians while pursuing ongoing technical development. Requires knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems, ability to travel, and comfort working in a factory environment with exposure to noise and potential hazards. Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems
- Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools
- May be required to travel
