Job Summary
Install and repair production equipment and building systems while performing preventative and reactive maintenance on all machinery. Diagnose problems, replace parts, and adjust manufacturing processes to ensure product integrity and maintain controls for budgeted goals. Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting using hand and power tools, and read equipment manuals to complete service work. Provide emergency repairs during operation and assist in training production employees on proper machinery operation. Monitor quality levels, detect faulty operations, and report unusual situations to supervision while adhering to all safety, health, GMP, and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance
- Computer usage and typing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally
- Collaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Desired Qualifications
- Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field
- A minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience
