Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining and repairing Prestera owned/leased buildings and equipment on a 24/7 basis, providing on-call services as necessary. Key duties include completing preventive maintenance, utilizing and caring for tools and equipment, establishing work procedures to meet deadlines, and assisting staff with maintenance-related issues. Experience in general maintenance or similar trade for at least 2 years is required, along with a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Strong communication and time management skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general maintenance, multi-site maintenance, construction, or similar trade
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in maintenance sector preferred
