Job Summary
Residential Maintenance Technician II role for a multifamily property. Responsibilities include ongoing facility maintenance and repairs, addressing work orders to prevent issues, light carpentry, minor electrical/plumbing tasks, HVAC-related work, and maintaining property cleanliness and resident amenities. Requires 4+ years of experience in property maintenance (residential or hospitality) and a HS diploma or GED; certifications such as EPA, CPO, HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing are preferred to take on more complex repairs. Customer-focused, safety-conscious professional with strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Must maintain own toolkit, have a valid driver’s license, and be available for on-call hours. Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional on-call and potential weekend hours; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), vacation, paid sick leave, and holiday pay. Nonexempt position with potential for travel to and from the property as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 4+ years of relevant maintenance work experience
- experience in residential or hospitality maintenance
- light carpentry
- electrical or plumbing repairs
- HVAC experience
- EPA, CPO, HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing certifications or related technical degrees preferred
