Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment (washing machines, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers); performing preventive/predictive maintenance; welding activities (MIG, TIG, ARC); boiler chemical testing and adjustments; addressing safety concerns; indoor/outdoor housekeeping; maintaining inventory and maintenance records; coordinating with inside/outside service teams; responding to emergency alarms; and mentoring Maintenance Technician I partners.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
- Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
- Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
- Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
