Maintenance Technician II - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and rebuild production machinery and automated electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime while providing support for machine overall equipment reliability. Respond to equipment breakdowns, assist with production changeovers, and maintain work records with clear oral and written reports. Follow all safety standards and quality protocols to ensure production exceeds standards, utilizing appropriate precautions for hazards including chemicals, dust, and mechanical risks. Work Monday through Friday, 6:00am-3:00pm, with occasional day travel to nearby locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 – 5 years experience in Industrial Maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on Mechanical and Electrical Equipment, and/or equivalent military experience
- Intermediate Proficiency in Hydraulics, Mechanics, Electrical, Welding and Rigging
- Commitment to Continuous Learning to achieve increasing levels of expertise
- Must be able to demonstrate/achieve and maintain Maintenance Tech II proficiency within 10 months of hire
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
- Work all required work schedules
- Day travel to nearby locations is sometimes required
Desired Qualifications
- 2-yr Technical Degree in Engineering or Industrial Maintenance
