Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Maintain all encapsulation and packaging equipment in optimal working order by installing, setting up, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery under the Maintenance Manager's direction. Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on plant utilities, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems, while diagnosing sources of failure to minimize downtime. Assist production teams until daily schedules are complete and prepare machinery for scheduled runs, making necessary adjustments to ensure maximum quality. Work in an on-call status or 6-7 day week as needed, with the ability to work the 1pm–9:30pm shift in Clackamas, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to be at the physical location of the job at the designated shift assigned
- Ability to be in On-Call Status, and/or work 6-7 day work week based off maintenance and production needs
- Must be able to successfully pass all job-related tests and certifications required for working in a cGMP, quality environment including but not limited to: inspections and GMP requirements to perform essential functions of the job
- Must re-qualify every year on all job-related tests and certifications as job or qualifications require
- Preferred high school Diploma/GED
- Minimum Technical classes relating to job
- Minimum 4-5 years mechanical experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Must pass a drug screen and a background check in accordance with HWP standards
- A legal right to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Forklift Certification
- Experience with FDA/cGMP compliance is preferred
