Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Maintain manufacturing equipment and facility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, and nitrogen, while troubleshooting mechanical, software, and basic electrical controls. Identify and submit procurement tickets for spare parts, acting as the primary shift contact for maintenance and parts replacement. Collaborate with engineering to understand scheduled maintenance needs and work on machine control systems, basic carpentry, and minor plumbing. Support Continuous Improvement events, vendor scheduling, and EH&S program compliance as the shift point of contact. Maintain a clean workspace and close out maintenance requests while prioritizing assignments with minimal supervision. Requires five years of manufacturing experience, proficiency with MS Office, and ability to work in cleanroom and non-clean environments.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) or more years of experience with manufacturing equipment & facility maintenance
- Experience with Facility Systems
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001
- Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments and documented quality systems, including GMP/GDP practices, SOPs, SPI requirements, and internal quality procedures
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance Programs
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures accurately
- Strong ability to prioritize assignments and manage time effectively
- Capable of working independently and completing tasks with minimal supervision
- Organized, detail‐oriented, and able to make sound decisions within assigned responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment: mechanical, software, basic electrical, basic controls
- Ability to work with & schedule vendors to the site for support of specialized systems
- Must be proficiency with MS office tools
- Must support the EH&S program by following IDEX guidance and processes and be EH&S point of contact on shift for production
- Moderate walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching required
- Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds
- Operates tools, equipment, and machinery in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Required to maintain a clean and safe work area
- Must follow established safety procedures
- Responsible for correcting unsafe conditions when possible and reporting hazards to management or the Safety Committee immediately
- Travel may be required
