Maintenance Technician I

Entry-level Maintenance Technician I performs foundational maintenance tasks across painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities include keeping tools and materials in good condition, handling hand/power tools safely, maintaining logs (e.g., generator and fire extinguisher inspections, utilities equipment, work orders, temperatures, fire alarms), ensuring a safe environment, adhering to policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality of employee and patient information, communicating with Senior Maintenance Technician and Facility Director, and supporting facility-wide quality/performance goals. The role requires regular and reliable attendance, driving a company vehicle, and travel between clinic locations. Core hours are 8am-5pm, with potential on-call and irregular schedules, including weekends and holidays. Education/Experience specifies a high school diploma or GED and a valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record.
