Maintenance Technician I/Welder/Machinist

Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on processing machinery, equipment, and supporting systems daily. Execute TIG and MIG welding for sanitary environments, inspecting welds for accuracy while preparing items via grinding, drilling, and milling. Manage downtime by monitoring compliance, updating CMMS records for PMs and repairs, and maintaining parts inventory. Ensure safety protocols and food quality standards are met by identifying issues, reporting concerns to management, and providing ongoing training to production associates. Support operations with major installations, new equipment planning, and general plant maintenance duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- at least 5 years of technical experience in the manufacturing or food processing industry

- HS diploma with coursework and/or training in electronics and mechanics
- minimum of 5 years technical experience in manufacturing or food processing industry

- Experience with PLC troubleshooting

- Demonstrated knowledge of motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, programmable controllers, and motor control electrical trouble shooting skills
