Job Summary

Diagnose operating problems on all varieties of regular and complicated machines and equipment using voltage meters, oscilloscopes, and laser equipment. Perform skilled fitting of bearings and spindles, align machine components, and scrape ways as needed. Execute electrical installation and maintenance on plant systems, laying out and installing complex wiring circuits in accordance with codes while diagnosing electronic controls. Install and wire new equipment or remove old equipment following millwright duties. Adhere to lock out/tag out rules and maintain a clean, orderly area while carrying out department policies.

Required Qualifications

knowledge of relay logic, digital logic, ladder drawings and diagrams
ability to use voltage meters, ohm meters, phase rotation tester, micrometers, torque wrenches, gauge blocks, precision squares, oscilloscope and laser equipment
ability to work from drawings, specifications and schematics
