Job Summary
Perform basic maintenance tasks on drill presses, chop saws, and other primary shop equipment while following detailed work instructions under close supervision. Assist in routine cleaning, inspections, minor building repairs, and execute assigned preventive maintenance checklists, documenting completed tasks and reporting issues immediately. Support higher-level technicians in troubleshooting, help with equipment movement and departmental moves, and maintain cleanliness of maintenance areas. Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO when trained, and identify safety hazards promptly. This entry-level position requires strong mechanical aptitude and is ideal for someone with a high school diploma or GED who has a mechanical hobby or basic shop experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to stand, lift, crouch, and work around tools and machinery
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire
